Greetings to all from California, and welcome to
CAL!  I am so grateful for everyone's help and
support getting this global home for Chinese
adoptees off the ground.  Special thanks to our
amazing CAL Board, to Siobhan, ICCG, and Mary
D in Ireland, to Xinran,Sheena, & Samantha in the
UK, to Jenni, Peggy &  FCC N. California in the
USA, and to Chinese adoptees and our families &
friends everywhere.  Thank you.  Now, let's get the
show on the road!  Welcome, once more, to all.

Valentine's Day stands for "Victory Day" in my mind
because I am a total techie-klutz (I am even scanner-
challenged!).  So getting CAL online is nothing short
of a miracle (phew!).  Our website is certainly work-
in-progress, but at least we have one now.  I am
about to send these pages out to the world with hope
and gratitude.  I'm too exhausted to say more at  the
moment since bedtime was...ah...a while ago.  
I trust that you'll let me know if links don't work, etc.,
and thanks for remembering that this is - literally - my
first website.  All best wishes from Jennifer / Bao Yu
p.s. This page is dedicated to my mom, who would
have loved to be a part of CAL if she could have
(she had cancer); but I guess, in a way, she is still
here...since it was she who adopted me all those
years ago with hopes and dreams...
